Winifred has finally released her single “Run”.
Winifred has finally released her most anticipated single titled Run.
Run is the third released song of Winifred and the song is produced by Mac Roc. She did a 
cover for Iyanya’s “Applaudise” in 2016 and a reply to Johnny Drille’s “Wait for me” titled “Dear John” in June 2017. According to her, Run was written from a place of “pain” and she decided to use this song to express her deepest feelings. Run is a song anybody can relate with and has been created to give hope.
“Winifred is an Afro/Urban contemporary singer and song writer. She was born and brought up in Benin City and later moved to Lagos. She studied International Studies and Diplomacy at the University of Benin. She embraced music at a very tender age joining her church’s choir and wrote her first unproduced song at the age of 5. She has grown into music over the years. Asides music, she has a special love for writing, anything in Blue and nature. Her music influences include Enya, Asa, Sia and Angelique Kidjo.”
